Building Hope, Transforming Futures: Dualtech Industry Partners Recognized on Partners’ Recognition Day

In celebration of its 43rd Foundation Anniversary, Dualtech Training Center recognized its industry partners for their support and collaboration through the years. The Partners’ Recognition Day not only celebrated long-standing partnerships but also recognized the collective efforts that have shaped the lives of thousands of young scholars, helping them grow in skills, character, and purpose.Among those honored was Vishay Philippines, Inc., recognized for 40 years of partnership with Dualtech. In his message, Mr. Julius Dela Cruz, Director of Human Resources, shared that their collaboration with Dualtech has been a journey of creating “success stories.” Many of their trainees have risen to become supervisors and managers—proof of how industry and education can work together to transform lives. He expressed gratitude to Dualtech for its continued contribution to the students and the technical industry, saying the partnership has truly created “a celebration of life stories.”Representing the manufacturing sector, Mr. John S. Huang, President and General Manager of Silgan White Cap, expressed his appreciation to Dualtech, noting their collaboration spanning nearly a decade. He emphasized how Dualtech’s focus on knowledge, values, and training helps bridge the gap between education and employment, producing well-prepared graduates who meet the demands of modern industry.Sharing the perspective of long-time industry partners, Mr. Justin Ng, Vice President for Operations of H&E Manufacturing Corp., thanked Dualtech for 20 years of partnership. He shared that Dualtech graduates consistently demonstrate excellence, dedication, and integrity in the workplace, exceeding expectations and contributing to their company’s success. He encouraged new partners to continue supporting Dualtech, describing it as an institution that produces well-rounded and competent professionals.From a five-year partnership standpoint, Ms. Janice Dela Cruz, HR and Admin Generalist of Kyokuto Kaihatsu Enterprise, expressed gratitude for their five-year partnership with Dualtech, which began during the pandemic. The event also featured the Presentation of Certificates of TVET Program Registration to new partner companies, including Readycon Trading & Construction Corp., Advanced Molding Technologies, and Souhatsu Philippines, Inc.

Following the presentation, Mr. Leonard Calma, Manager for External Affairs, shared updates on Dualtech’s programs, including highlights of its Enterprise-Based Education and Training initiatives, and Corporate Social Responsibility projects designed to strengthen industry engagement and expand opportunities for scholars across the country.Representing the Dualtech alumni, Mr. Juvenal Orejas, reflected on his 36-year journey since graduating from the institution. He credited Dualtech’s continued growth to its passion, commitment, and consistency—values passed on by its founders and sustained by the current leadership. He reaffirmed that partnering with Dualtech guarantees access to skilled and value-driven manpower that truly contributes to a company’s success.Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi, President and Executive Director of Dualtech, presented the institution’s growth vision and strategic development plans, focusing on expanding its capacity through campus development projects such as the Excellence Center Canlubang and the upcoming Technology Building. He emphasized Dualtech’s commitment to producing future-ready graduates through enhanced training programs, inclusion of women scholars, and professional upskilling.In his closing remarks, Engr. Muhi expressed his appreciation to all industry partners for their steadfast trust and support over the years. He encouraged everyone to continue working together in shaping a stronger technical workforce and in fulfilling Dualtech’s mission of “Building Hope, Transforming Futures.”
