Dualtech presents career opportunities for the youth in Taytay, Palawan
Dualtech Training Center visited schools in Taytay, Palawan to introduce career opportunities for the youth. Most families in Taytay rely on farming, construction, and fishing for their livelihood.
The team first visited Sandoval National High School, Canique National High School, and Pantolon National High School, where teachers and students expressed gratitude for the hope and opportunities the visit provided.
The team then visited Casian National High School. Casian is an island coastal barangay in Taytay, Palawan, where many residents rely on small-scale fishing, seaweed farming, and other marine-based livelihoods.
The school, together with the faculty, welcomed the Dualtech team and gathered senior high school students and parents to learn more about Dualtech’s training opportunities and industry partnerships.
Dualtech also had the opportunity to meet the parents of two Dualtech trainees currently undergoing their training at Dualtech’s industry partner. The community expressed appreciation to the Dualtech team for providing learning and development opportunities to the students, noting that these are a big help to their learners and their future careers.
The team continued its outreach efforts to Bato National High School and Central National High School, bringing career opportunities closer to students and families in the community.
During the visit to Central NHS, 4Ps beneficiaries from Bantolan, Palawan joined the event, showing interest in Dualtech’s programs. The event brought together parents and senior high school students to learn more about Dualtech’s program offerings and its industry-based training approach.
Parents expressed their support for the program. Many shared that initiatives like this open opportunities for the youth in their community, especially for families seeking stable employment opportunities. They believe that Dualtech’s program can help students build long-term careers and achieve financial stability.
Through these visits, Dualtech continues to provide pathways for youth seeking better career opportunities outside Palawan.
