Dualtech and SHIMS bring digital learning support to Public Schools in Masinloc, Zambales

Dualtech Training Center, in partnership with SHI Manufacturing Services Philippines, Inc. (SHIMS), visited Coto High School, Bani National High School, and San Salvador High School in Masinloc, Zambales to support digital learning through the donation of Starlink units and internet connectivity.During the visits, SHIMS donated Starlink units to the identified schools, providing reliable internet access for both students and teachers. This project aims to strengthen digital learning, improve access to educational resources, particularly in schools with limited or no internet connectivity.Representing Coto High School, Mr. Fernando M. Quides, School Head, expressed appreciation for the support from Dualtech, highlighting the long-standing partnership. He noted that the Starlink donation would help students access learning tools more effectively and emphasized the importance of digital skills for Grades 11 and 12 students in completing research and online assignments. He also recognized the role of SHIMS and Dualtech in inspiring and guiding students in remote schools toward brighter futures.Mr. Jon Sypher E. Empeño, Principal of Bani National High School, also expressed gratitude, stating that the Starlink units would make teaching and learning more interactive, improve the quality of education, and enhance student outcomes. He acknowledged SHIMS as a partner of Dualtech in supporting educational development in the school.

Through this initiative, Dualtech and SHIMS demonstrate their support for enhancing education in last-mile schools, giving students the tools and connectivity they need to progress in an increasingly digital world.
