98 Electromechanics Technology Graduates, Board Passers, and Partner Institutions Recognized by Dualtech Center

At the recent commencement ceremony, Dualtech Center recognized 98 work-trainees who earned their diplomas for the 2-year Electromechanics Technology course. Mr. Henry D. Antonio, President and CEO of EEI Corporation was the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

During his speech, Mr. Antonio emphasized gratitude, perseverance, and the importance of giving back while addressing the graduating batch, which included 11 graduates who were trained in EEI Corporation.

“I hope over time, when you succeed, and even if you don’t feel you succeed, you will not stop being grateful and giving back to your friends, your family, your employer, and most especially to our Lord. That’s the attitude that will give us a certain fulfillment,” he shared.

He expressed his strong belief in Dualtech’s system and its impact on shaping competent and dedicated professionals.

Mr. Antonio also offered words of encouragement: “Please trust me when I say, don’t feel like second-class citizens just because you don’t have a college degree. There are many college degree holders that I will not employ in EEI, but I would employ every single graduate of Dualtech. Continue learning and improving yourself as a way to show gratitude for the blessings you have received.”

He concluded with a paraphrased message from St. Josemaria Escriva: “We Christians have to be a source of peace and joy.” Mr. Antonio reflected on the importance of living a life that brings peace and joy to others, drawing inspiration from their faith.

Mr. John Lloyd Kenneth R. Duran, the batch representative gave an address on behalf of the graduates. John Lloyd expressed his gratitude and highlighted the collective achievements of the Dualtech graduates, acknowledging the trials and challenges they overcame. “With every step we took to reach this day, we never thought that despite all the trials and challenges, we would be here to receive our diplomas.”

Reflecting on his personal journey, John Lloyd shared his humble beginnings in a simple and deprived family. Growing up in Lipa City, Batangas, as the third of seven siblings, he was exposed to various jobs at a young age to support his education.

“I worked as a harvester and construction worker to finance my studies,” he recounted. At eighteen, he balanced work at a motor shop with his studies, driven by the hard work and sacrifices of his parents and siblings. John Lloyd extended his gratitude to Dualtech and the sponsorship of the W&J Lim Foundation for providing opportunities and inspiration.

John Lloyd also thanked Sarimonde Food Corporation for the training and employment opportunity, acknowledging the skills he gained there.

As a final message to his fellow graduates, John Lloyd urged them to cherish the lessons learned and stay inspired. “Let these lessons guide and inspire us in every step of our lives. Believe in yourself, follow your dreams, and never underestimate the power of your voice to make a difference in the world.”
