PEZA Inspires 150 Electromechanics Graduates to Shape the Future of the Industry Workforce
Last June 26, 2026, Dualtech Training Center held its Commencement Exercises for 150 graduates of the Electromechanics Technology program.
The ceremony was attended by guests, including representatives from industry partners such as Century Pacific Foods Inc., Center Industrial Supply Corporation, Licton Industrial Corp., Marubeni Scholarship Foundation, Philippines Ecozones Association (PHILEA), Adamson University Cocofed Scholars Foundation, Inc., W & J Lim Foundation, Lao Foundation, Inc., and Jack and Amor Herbster, who witnessed the graduation of their trainees and scholars.
Rev. Kim Rianier A. Tiburan, a scholar from Mindoro, delivered a message about hard work, perseverance, and gratitude. Serving as the batch representative was more than a leadership role for Kim. It was an opportunity to inspire his fellow graduates.
In his speech, he shared how he worked while pursuing his studies to help support his family. As the son of a farmer and a fruit vendor, Kim witnessed the struggles of making ends meet from an early age. Determined to help, he took on various jobs while continuing his education. Although he had to let go of his dream of becoming a seaman, a work immersion program introduced him to Dualtech, where he discovered a new path and a greater purpose.
Beyond technical training, Dualtech provided Kim with opportunities to grow as a trainee leader and officer, shaping not only his technical competencies but also his character and leadership skills.
He expressed his gratitude to his parents for their sacrifices, to Dualtech for its guidance, to the Marubeni Scholarship Foundation for supporting his education, and to Alarm Data Security System Inc. for instilling in him professionalism and workplace responsibility.
Kim concluded his message by encouraging his fellow graduates to pursue their dreams with perseverance, embrace every challenge as an opportunity for growth, and make the most of the opportunities that come their way as they begin their professional careers.
The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) graced the commencement exercises through the representation of Engr. Alejo F. Macaraeg, Deputy Zone Administrator of the PEZA Cavite Economic Zone.
On behalf of Director General Tereso Panga, Engr. Macaraeg congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the Electromechanics Technology Course. He also recognized the support of their families and sponsoring companies in helping them achieve this important milestone.
In his message, he emphasized the value of industry-based training in preparing graduates for careers in manufacturing, automation, and industrial operations. He noted that their technical skills are highly sought after across PEZA economic zones and encouraged them to continue learning, enhance their competencies, and maintain a positive work attitude.
In closing, Engr. Macaraeg urged the graduates to embrace lifelong learning and pursue continuous improvement as they begin their professional careers. He reaffirmed PEZA’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Dualtech in developing a globally competitive workforce and challenged the graduates to continue making their families, communities, and the nation proud.
Dualtech also recognized the parents from Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, and Bohol who successfully completed the Parents’ Formation Seminar, a three-module program covering education, parenting, and career guidance.
During the ceremony, Dualtech likewise recognized alumni who successfully passed the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) licensure examinations:
- Jerwin G. Oñate – Certified Plant Mechanic (CPM); also a Registered Master Electrician (RME) and Electronics Technician (ECT)
- June Carlo L. Tolentino – Registered Master Electrician (RME)

- Aaron Joshua D. Manalo – Registered Master Electrician (RME)
