From Student to PRC Board Passer: Alumnus shares how Dualtech Training prepared him for the Real World of Work
A proud alumnus of Dualtech Training Center, Mr. Edzel Natanauan, shared how his training experience shaped not only his skills but also his character. He described his time at Dualtech as a period of growth, especially in learning to work with others with humility and respect.
One experience that stood out for him was his on-the-job training (OJT) at Honda Philippines, Inc. Edzel emphasized the discipline and practical activities that provided students with real-world skills. Since graduating in 2018 and successfully passing the PRC examination as a Certified Plant Mechanic, he has reflected on how Dualtech prepared him for the professional world. “Dualtech trained me through effective and practical activities that honed my abilities and gave me the experience to become a competent employee. Their support helped me grow both in character and skills, preparing me for the real world of work.”
Inspired by others who pursued growth and development in their careers, particularly in fields related to his own, Edzel was motivated to step outside his comfort zone and take on new challenges. Passing the Licensure Examination for Plant Mechanics, he shared, will help him become more effective at work through the application of newly gained skills and in future fields he plans to pursue. He is currently working at Samsung Electro-Mechanics Philippines Corp. as Lead Technician II, where he continues to apply the knowledge and values he gained from Dualtech.
He also shared a message for aspiring Dualtech trainees, encouraging them not to be afraid to try and to give Dualtech the opportunity to develop their skills. He said that the school provides excellent training and character development while helping strengthen faith. He also encouraged them to continue growing and not hesitate to reach out, return, and seek guidance from Dualtech. As an alumnus and PRC passer, he expressed confidence that Dualtech can support their professional, character, and personal development.
Edzel expressed his gratitude to the institution, thanking Dualtech for always welcoming alumni. He hoped that the programs would continue to expand and help more youth grow and achieve their dreams, adding “Mabuhay and God bless! Tatak Dualtech!”
