Dualtech collaborates with Ibiden Philippines and Del Monte Foundation to Bring Career Opportunities to Misamis Oriental Learners

Dualtech Training Center, in partnership with Ibiden Philippines, Inc. and the Del Monte Foundation, brought career opportunities to learners and educators in Misamis Oriental. Through career orientations, school visits, and community engagements, the team introduced technical education programs and resources designed to support students, ALS teachers, and their families in building competencies and sustainable careers.The team conducted a courtesy visit to Del Monte Foundation together with representatives from Ibiden Philippines. The foundation welcomed the team and expressed its continued support for programs, particularly those related to education.

During the visit, Ibiden Philippines shared its intent to donate laptops to be distributed to Alternative Learning System (ALS) teachers in Misamis Oriental. The donation aims to strengthen digital learning and provide teachers with improved tools for instruction. The initiative reflects a practical approach to addressing technology gaps in community-based education.Dualtech, together with Ibiden Philippines and Del Monte Foundation, visited Claveria, Misamis Oriental. Claveria is one of the identified communities under the Zero Poverty PH 2030 (ZeP 2030) movement. The team was welcomed by officials from the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Local Government Unit (LGU), who organized a career orientation for Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners in the area.Dualtech presented its training programs, highlighting its scholarship partnership with Del Monte Foundation and its industry training partnership with Ibiden Philippines, Inc. The career orientation aimed to introduce ALS learners to technical education opportunities that can help them build sustainable careers.Ibiden Philippines donated laptops to ALS teachers and learners in the Northeast District of Claveria. The donated units will support educators in delivering lessons and help address the challenges brought about by limited educational resources.

DepEd Misamis Oriental expressed its appreciation to Ibiden Philippines, Del Monte Foundation, and Dualtech Training Center for the laptop donation, noting that the devices will greatly assist teachers in preparing and delivering their lessons.The team then visited Apos Kahoy National High School, where the engagement generated a significant number of students expressing interest in enrolling at Dualtech. The career opportunities presented by Dualtech, Ibiden Philippines, and Del Monte Foundation will prepare students for stable careers in electrical, mechanical, and electronics fields. Students will also gain hands-on experience through apprenticeship programs with industry partners.The team also conducted a home visit in Malitbog, Misamis Oriental to meet the families of students enrolled in the ZeP 2030 program, supported by the Lao Foundation. The visit provided an opportunity to speak with parents and learn about the training experiences during training and on-the-job assignments.

The parents appreciated the visit by Dualtech, along with Ibiden Philippines, Inc. and the Del Monte Foundation, as it gave them an opportunity to share updates and discuss both the challenges and progress of their sons.

The series of visits in Claveria and Malitbog, Bukidnon underscored the importance of collaboration between industry, education, and local communities. With scholarship programs, technical training, and resources such as laptop donations, Dualtech, Ibiden Philippines, and Del Monte Foundation continue to empower learners and open pathways toward inclusive growth and long-term career success in Misamis Oriental.
