DepEd Bohol Division Explores Dualtech’s Dual Training System in Yamaha and Enchanted Kingdom
Dualtech Center organized the Dualtech 103 Work Values and Dual Training System immersion program for its guests from the Department of Education (DepEd) Bohol Division. This program was specifically designed to introduce the delegates to Dualtech’s training approach, combining theoretical knowledge with in-company practical experience.
The program began at Dualtech’s campus, where the guests received an overview about the admissions process, program offerings, activities, projects, and dual training partnerships with industry partners. Dualtech’s Partnerships and Programs Office also provided a briefing on the itinerary, which included tours of two industry partners: Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. and Enchanted Kingdom. The first visit brought the group to Yamaha Motor Philippines’ manufacturing plant in Malvar, Batangas. Human Resources (HR) representatives welcomed the delegates, introducing Yamaha’s corporate profile and its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives within both the company and local communities. The delegates also met Dualtech scholars from the Bohol municipalities of Guindulman, Carmen, and Loay. The trainees expressed gratitude to both Dualtech and Yamaha, acknowledging the technical guidance and personal development opportunities they received. They committed to completing the program, aiming to uplift themselves and their families back home. The guests were also given a tour of Yamaha’s facilities, observing firsthand the Dual Training System in developing skilled, well-rounded professionals. Dr. Alice C. Raganas, representing Maribojoc, Bohol, expressed her appreciation after hearing the scholars’ stories, encouraging them to “excel and put heart into what they do,” noting that this dedication could open doors for career growth, potentially even with Yamaha. The program continued with a visit to Enchanted Kingdom (EK), where HR Head Ms. Mahree Sular welcomed the group and shared EK’s commitment to supporting Dualtech scholars. Eduard Mark Maugdang, a Dualtech scholar from Dagohoy, Bohol, shared his appreciation for the skills and values he’s acquired, and the welcoming environment he experienced at EK. He reflected, “With the right guidance and support, I know I’ll progress and successfully complete my training.”The DepEd delegates expressed gratitude to Enchanted Kingdom’s management for their dedication to the scholars’ development and reiterated their commitment to sending more trainees from Bohol to Dualtech.
This immersion program left an impact on the DepEd officials, who were moved by the training, support, and family-like treatment extended to Dualtech scholars by industry partners. The program highlighted the benefits of the Dual Training System, inspiring everyone involved to expand these opportunities for more students from Bohol.
