BOHOL
March 12 to 14, 2015 – Dualtech visited Bohol to gather scholars to enrol in the Electromechanics Technology program. Dualtech was welcomed by the representatives from Department of Education (DepEd) in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The screening was held in the DepEd Office and qualified 50 scholars. They were the second batch after admitting 21 Boholanos who started in January 2015.
Another batch is expected to start by 3rd and 4th quarter of 2015.
ILOCOS SUR, ABRA, and AURORA
March 16 to 19, 2015 – Community Relations Office tapped the local communities and parishes in Ilocos Sur, Abra, and Aurora, to reach the less-privileged and offered an option of technical education through the Dual Training System. Scholars started in May 2015.
MINDORO
May 25 to 26, 2015 – Dualtech recruited 8 Mamburao scholars. The team was assisted by the PESO Office headed by Ms. Rushelle Biluan. The families of these scholars earn a living through agricultural livelihood and fishing, especially in the Paluan, Occidental Mindoro.
Other Mindoreño scholars will come in September 2015 from the adjacent towns of Paluan and Sablayan, Mindoro.
PANGASINAN AND NUEVA VIZCAYA
May 06 and May 27 – Scholarship orientation was held in Diadi, Nueva Viscaya and Urdaneta, Pangasinan of which 67 were screened by the Community Relations Team.
One of the scholars in Nueva Vizcaya stood up on a homily in St. Joseph Parish in Nueva Vizcaya. He testified his experiences and transformation brought by the training at Dualtech.
The screening activity in Pangasinan took place in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion. The scholars has started their training in June 2015.
BICOL REGION
April 27 to 28, 2015 – Following the campaigns in San Fernando, Sipocot and Del Gallego in Camarines Sur, Dualtech Center extended its reach to Milaor town. Parishes assisted on the screening by gathering the candidates at St. Pius X Parish and St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
