TESDA Awards DTS Certificates to UNILAB’S Manufacturing Plants

In what could be the biggest endorsement of the Dual Training System (DTS), Unilab applied for and received certifications for five of its manufacturing plants.

Last March 10, TESDA Laguna Provincial Director Cariza Dacuma conferred the certificates. The presentation was held at the Amherst Biñan, factory. PD Dacuma presenting the certificates underscores the significance of Unilab’s and Dualtech’s achievement. The plants are Amherst Laboratories, Amherst Parenterals, Amherst Nutraceuticals, Asian Antibiotic, and Belmont Softgel.

Taking advantage of the event, PD Dacuma went on discussion about TESDA programs for industries and its workers in Laguna. UNILAB also presented its in-house Foreman training course that will capacitate its technicians to be the team leads in the factories. Three Dualtech alumni will complete the Foreman training in April 2022. Aside from being Electromechics Technology graduates, they are legitimate foremen.
