Scholarship and OJT program partnership in Concrete Technology

Dualtech Training Center, JVazco, and Floorstone held a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on OJT programs and scholarship grants, with support from Xingyi.JVazco, a leading provider of innovative concrete solutions in the Philippines, and Floorstone, a trusted distributor of construction and finishing materials, welcomed Dualtech representatives to the event. The visit also included a facility tour, where Dualtech observed the training setup for scholars under the Center for Concrete Surface Excellence Program.
The program will provide scholars with hands-on experience in concrete technology, including the operation and maintenance of specialized equipment. The event also marked the official turnover of Xingyi’s donation, facilitated through JVazco and Floorstone.
During the ceremony, Mr. Evaristo Vazquez Jr., President and CEO of Floorstone, emphasized that the program is about helping others. He explained that, through Dualtech, they aim to guide scholars to truly understand concrete work. He added that the initiative seeks to elevate students’ skills and professionalism by introducing modern equipment, teaching advanced techniques, and fostering collaboration among craftsmen to reach greater heights.
Dualtech’s President and Executive Director, Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi, also expressed optimism about the partnership. He noted that the students who will train at JVazco will go beyond being ordinary workers—they are expected to become experts in concrete technology. With JVazco’s support, he added, these scholars can set new standards not only in the construction industry but also for the Philippines as a whole.

This program further strengthens the collaboration among these institutions by supporting both training and scholarship initiatives for Dualtech scholars.
