Rotary Club Manila – Dualtech Alliance Bears Fruit

The close relationship between the Rotary Club of Manila and Dualtech is quite productive. First, there was the generous donation. Then the grant of scholarships to 30 students. Both grants happened in the last quarter of 2021.

2022 has just begun and Cleanway Environmental Management Solutions, Inc.(CEMSI) is studying a possible partnership with Dualtech. CEMSI’s interest in a partnership was through their attendance in the Rotary Club of Manila sponsorship event last December 12, 2021. CEMSI’s interest was piqued by what they saw and experienced in Dualtech. Steps are now being taken for a partnership agreement. This means CEMSI will be a training institution implementing the Dual Training Program. CEMSI will take in Dualtech scholars for in-plant training.

CEMSI, located in Silang, Cavite, provides the best and most adequate complementary solutions and services in support of the environment in response to the growing need for comprehensive waste management. CEMSI also provides and develops environmental products and technologies for various environmental problems encountered by industries.

Dualtech’s Executive Director, Mr. Jerry Webb Muhi, joined by Messrs Rommel Tejada and Jose Jacob of Sponsors and Alumni Relations had an online meeting with CEMSI officials. Top CEMSI officials present were Mr. Jose Exiquel Esguerra, Managing Director; Bien Isabelo Clarete, Chief Operations Officer with support from the Department Managers.

Dualtech officials explained the core system of the school in training young boys 2 years electromechanics technology broken down to the 6 months in-school basic training and the 18 months applied in-plant training. Dualtech emphasized the value of this training partnership with CEMSI, as this will provide further opportunity to its students and the possibility of hiring quality, values formed and skilled Dualtech graduates in the future.

Dualtech welcomes donations for scholarships, education subsidies, living allowance and, educational equipment, materials and tools. Application for enrollment is continuing. Dualtech continues to assist company partners obtain their DTS accreditation.
