Future of packaging industry presented at Krones and Dualtech Center’s technology day
Dualtech Center in collaboration with Krones Group, hosted the Kosme Technology Day event, gathering various companies and students to focus on the latest innovations, developments, and trends in the packaging industry.
Mr. Andrea Paternieri from Kosme Packaging Solutions led a presentation covering packaging processes for beverages, pharmaceuticals, home and personal care products, food, liquid food, and more, as practiced in Europe and soon to be introduced in Asia.
After the presentation, there was an engaging question and answer session, allowing attendees to delve deeper into the topics discussed. Following this, a special program was dedicated to award a scholarship to a Dualtech trainee, Jolan Villarino from Pasacao, Camarines Sur.
Jolan expressed his gratitude to Dualtech for the opportunity to further his education, especially after his dream of joining the military had closed. He also thanked Krones for the scholarship, promising to uphold the values and be a good model as a Krones scholar.
Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi, President and Executive Director of Dualtech Center, gave the closing message. He extended gratitude to the Krones group and highlighted the role that technical experts play in any organization, encouraging students to appreciate and be inspired by the technology and expertise showcased during the event.
Mr. Jojo Mendoza, Managing Director of Krones, also delivered a closing message challenging Dualtech students to always think about their purpose. He noted that the two-year training period is short, urging students to absorb knowledge like a sponge during the six months of basic training and to give their best during the 18 months of hands-on training. He encouraged them to return to Dualtech as successful professionals, just like their Head of Sales, Mr. Rodelio Espinosa.
The Kosme Technology Day at Dualtech Center brought together industry experts and students with the latest in packaging technology and provided opportunities for learning and inspiration.
