Fundraising of Dualtech Alumni Riders’ Club (Ride for a Cause)

“Everytime we organize a reunion, let’s do a charity on the side in the spirit of giving back to Dualtech. In that way, while we have fun meeting with our friends while we’re doing recreational activities, we can also help the institution.” – Dario Tolentino, Alumnus

About 20 Dualtech alumni rode their motorcycles gathered together to raise funds for Dualtech scholars. The group traveled to Pagsanjan, Laguna and visited Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Church, to receive blessing for this worthy cause.

Passing on the torch to the new generation of aspiring Dualtech scholars, this voluntary initiative is a sign that the alumni truly live by the “virtue”, following the values inculcated within Dualtech. With the support of the Dualtech Alumni Relations Office, Dualtech alumni were able to make their motor ride towards their designated points.

Dario Tolentino, Engineering Director of Middleby Philippines and alumnus of Dualtech, a long-time sponsor of the school and hope to further inspire and help Dualtech trainees. Dario delivered a short speech addressing the needs to support Dualtech Center by encouraging alumni to not only organize reunion events but also share financial support through this cause. Also, he recommended chapters from every province such as those from Manila, Cavite, Batangas, and among many others to attend future reunions which would help spread this advocacy and also form camaraderie amongst those from different batches, sections, and ages as Dualtech alumni work towards forming strong bond to hopefully organize events of their own.

This event rekindled Dualtech alumni who have established their respective careers to give back to their alma mater and be role models in the future in a never-ending cycle of gratitude and service.
