Elektro Werk and T3 Foundation work with Dualtech to help aspiring youth have access to stable employment

“I used to be a truck driver in Samar, a place far from my family…This scholarship is a significant help for my family, particularly since our farm’s harvest is no longer as plentiful, and my parents are advancing in age.”
“[Before] I reached grade 12I [had already worked] as a sales assistant for my uncle, who hired me. While working, I started contributing to my family’s electricity bills and assisted in purchasing food for our meals. It was not easy for me because, after work, I still had to complete my school modules despite being exhausted… [This scholarship] has significantly assisted my education, and I am determined to excel in my training. ”
The sampling of stories and testimonies hint of the great sacrifice, and at the same time, of great hope among the youth that T3 Foundation Inc., and Elektro Werk, Inc. (EWI) actively support. Both T3 and EWI belong to a single group of companies which has worked with Dualtech since 2021. Incidentally, a second company, Fineline, also works with T3 and has Dualtech trainees too in their premises. As they try to finish their training well, deserving students like Jhay Mark Licot and Raffy Barrun who gave the stories above are encouraged to keep overcoming challenges and to achieve their dreams.
Last September 30, 2023, T3 Foundation Inc.’s Executive Director, Ms. Abigail L. Tan, GDip, and EWI’s Vice President, Mr. Jasper C. Tan, visited Dualtech for a Scholars’ Kamustahan and to tour the campus. Aside from the two scholars above, T3 also currently supports three other scholars. All these five originated from various backgrounds and provinces such as Antique, Bohol, and Pampanga. The kamustahan also was an opportune time for Dualtech to express its gratitude for EWI’s recent donation of welding machines.
As the socio-civic arm of EWI,the Foundation was established and registered with the SEC on 18 December 2019 in honor of Mr. Tan Tiak Tin (thus the corporate name “T3”) by his children. Prior to its establishment, however, the Tan family’s heart to help has been in place through the yearly financial rewards and awards to student-dependents of the employees of EWI and its affiliate companies, relief goods for poor families and support to Christian missionaries and pastors by as early as 2011.
Elektro Werk, Inc. (EWI) and its Group of Companies engaged in the marketing and sale of hardware, electrical and machinery products. The company needs service technicians for its dealers nationwide. The partnership with Dualtech helps them prepare manpower for the after sales in the key cities and provinces in the Philippines such as Davao, Bacolod, Iloilo, Pampanga, Ilocos among others.
