Dualtech Industry Partners receive TESDA DTS accreditation

On September 20, 2022, TESDA Laguna Provincial Office awarded the Dual Training System (DTS) accreditation certificates to five (5) industry partners of Dualtech Center. Among the partners that received the certificates were Bluemantle Industries, Super Candy Corporation, Bonflex Packaging Corp., Kinergy Philippines, and FPD Asia Property Services, Inc.
Bluemantle Industries, the commissary of Mary Grace Café, hosted the venue in Southwoods Mall, Binan City. The event was also attended by TESDA LLDA Training Center, Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trade (JZGMSAT), and Mary Grace Café.
Bluemantle Industries, Inc. in Parañaque City was represented by Mr. Berwyn Cruz, Engineering Senior Manager, who was instrumental in bringing Dualtech to the company. Prior to Bluemantle, Berwyn trained Dualtech trainees in another food manufacturing company since 2014. “Sa dating company ko na-meet ang Dualtech Center. Marami na kaming na-train at na-absorb din naming sila as engineering technicians. Kaya noong nangailangan kami ng trainees sa engineering, Dualtech agad naisip ko.” Berwyn expressed the contribution of Dualtech trainees to his engineering team which he wants to bring to Bluemantle and Mary Grace Café.

Supercandy Corporation, one of the candy manufacturing companies in Malolos Bulacan was the second company that accepted the TESDA DTS certificate. Ms. Elsie Santos, HR Officer, and Mr. Darwin Delos Reyes, Engineering Manager came and shared with the group that they also learned about Dualtech from their previous companies. “Ilang years na kaming nag-partner with Dualtech. Ngayon na nasa bagong company na kami, our plan is to train and absorb again Dualtech trainees. We will give them the opportunity to be trained as operator technicians. They can become our supervisors”

Kinergy Philippines, a manufacturer of equipment, machines, precision tools, parts, and components for the semiconductor industry, in Calamba City was represented by Ms. Rizhel Labigan, HR Officer. In 2015, Kinergy trained Dualtech trainees who are now their full-time employees. With their plant expansion, Kinergy plans to train another batch of Dualtech trainees.

Bonflex Packaging Corporation, provider of flexible packaging to various multinational companies, in Biñan City was also given the accreditation certificate. Ms. Ma. Shiela Vega, HR and Admin Manager, cited how they are excited about the partnership. “First partnership naming ito sa Dualtech. We are thankful sa Dualtech for assisting us in getting this DTS Certification from TESDA”. Bonflex also hired Dualtech graduates.

Finally, FPD Asia Property Services, a leading property services provider in the Philippines, in Makati City was represented by its Chairman and President, Ms. Elizabeth G. Rabuy. She shared, “While this is our first time with Dualtech, I really appreciate yung sinabi ni Mr. Arnold Morfe [Dualtech President], na ang training nila is not just technical skills but they are also doing values formation which is very important para maitama yung landas ng trainees.” In FPD Asia Property Services, the management hosts regular staff meeting and they also cascade corporate values. “Ang values, hindi mo kayang ibit-bit sa ulo ng tao, kailangan makita at kailangan ma-practice ng tao.” Ms. Rabuy added.

After the awarding of DTS Certificates, Dir. Cariza Dacuma, TESDA Laguna Provincial Director, gave a message to industry partners. Dir. Dacuma cited that TESDA is in full support of industries. “We, at TESDA, are here for people who have less chances in life. As our office says, “TESDA Abot Lahat”; we have to reach out to our kababayans to give them hope. I am very happy to see that all of you came here and gave importance to the dual training system program of TESDA.
Lastly, Mr. Leon Peckson, Cultural and Spiritual Director of Mary Grace Cafe, thanked the guests as well as the representatives from TESDA and Dualtech for coming to the café as its venue for this event. Joining the new DTS accredited establishments; Mr. Peckson shared “Let’s take people who have the ability and the willingness to work. Let’s grow with them and let’s grow together. Mary Grace is not alone. Five other companies, who are here with us share the same vision, share the same desire.”
Dualtech Training Center assists industry partners get the TESDA Dual Training System accreditation certificates. These new partners are qualified by TESDA as a venue for training in Electromechanics Technology which will produce well-rounded operators, maintenance, mechanics, machinists and technicians in the factories.
