Dualtech holds Parents’ Formation Seminar in Bohol
Dualtech Center held a Parents’ Formation Seminar across the municipalities of Tagbilaran City, Dagohoy, Pilar, and Anda in Bohol, gathering more than 200 parents and guardians. The seminar focused on “The Value of Education,” highlighting how parental support contributes to students’ success during training.
During the program, Dualtech representatives also met with local government officials, school heads, and community leaders who expressed support for the program. Some LGUs, including Pilar and Anda, pledged financial assistance to help students pursue technical-vocational education at Dualtech. The seminar also served as a venue for parents to share their experiences and inspire others.
Vergenia Abo-abo, a parent from Pilar, Bohol, shared how the program had transformed her family’s life. Her eldest child graduated from Dualtech in 2018 and now works in Cebu. Her second child is currently undergoing on-the-job training in Cavite, and her third is set to enroll soon. She expressed how the program gave parents like her renewed hope for a better future for their children. Despite the challenges and sacrifices, she believes it is all worth it. She shared that Dualtech makes it possible for hardworking families to dream bigger and see their children succeed.
Through these initiatives, Dualtech continues to strengthen its partnerships with parents and communities—ensuring that every scholar receives not only technical education but also the support needed for their personal and professional growth.
