Dualtech Center presents Training and Employment Opportunities to DepEd and LGU officials from Bohol
Dualtech Center presented its Electromechanics Technology Program to delegates from the Department of Education (DepEd) and Local Government officials from Danao and Sagbayan, Bohol. During the visit, Dualtech representatives provided an overview of recent initiatives, including short courses, in-plant training with industry partners, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. The delegates also participated in a seminar on achieving work-life balance, which offered valuable insights into managing both personal and professional responsibilities.
As part of the activity, the delegates toured the Dualtech campus, where they interacted with several scholars from their home province of Bohol. They expressed appreciation for the positive transformation they observed among the students, highlighting their strong work values, discipline, and eagerness to learn. The delegates commended Dualtech for providing opportunities that support personal growth and sustainable employment for Boholano youth.
Dualtech Center arranged a plant visit to Yamaha Motor Philippines and the Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata Inc. for guests from the Department of Education (DepEd) and local government officials from Danao and Sagbayan, Bohol, as part of its Work Values and Dual Training System immersion program.
The team first visited Yamaha, where the company’s CSR team welcomed the delegates to their plant in Batangas. The visit began with a presentation on the company’s profile, CSR initiatives, and a safety orientation, followed by a guided plant tour. The guests toured Yamaha’s facilities, to see the training processes and advanced technologies at the plant. After the tour, the delegates met with the current Dualtech scholars from Guindulman and Pilar, Bohol.
Ms. Vivian B. Samputon, Central School Principal from DepEd Sagbayan, Bohol, expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to experience and witness the operations of a company that values time consciousness and strong partnerships. She also emphasized the importance of collaboration, believing that “together, everyone achieves more.” Ms. Samputon reflected on how many of the learners from Bohol came from underprivileged backgrounds, yet through this partnership, their lives had significantly improved. She extended her gratitude to Dualtech and Yamaha for making such transformation possible.
The team then visited the Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata at its manufacturing plant in Batangas. Murata’s HR team presented the company profile, followed by a plant tour that gave the guests an inside look at the training processes and innovative technologies used at the facility. During the tour, the group also met some Dualtech scholars and an employee who was a former trainee from Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
Ms. Juvy D. Ayenza, PhD, Public Schools District Supervisor from DepEd Danao, Bohol, expressed her gratitude to Murata for helping shape and improve the lives of learners from Bohol. She also encouraged the Bohol delegates to inspire more students to take part in the training at Murata, especially after witnessing the positive environment and quality of training provided by your company. Ms. Ayenza also shared her appreciation for Murata’s efforts in preparing the learners for the industry and making a lasting impact on their lives.
By witnessing the transformation of the scholars from Bohol and the commitment of companies like Yamaha and Murata, the delegates left with renewed hope and inspiration. Dualtech Center remains grateful for the continued support of its partners and looks forward to working hand in hand with DepEd and LGUs to open more opportunities for the youth—empowering them with values, skills, and career opportunities for a better future.
