Dualtech Center participates in the 2025 Regional TVET Forum In Pagadian City, Zamboanga
Dualtech Center, led by its President and Executive Director, Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi, participated in the TESDA Zamboanga Peninsula’s 2025 Regional TVET Forum held at the Pavilion Hall, Provincial Government Center, Dao, Pagadian City. The event brought together TVET leaders, industry partners, government agencies, and stakeholders to discuss innovations in technical education and skills development. 
With the theme “Harnessing TVET Ecosystems in Advancing the TESDA Best 8-Point Agenda,” the forum aimed to foster collaboration, share best practices, and explore strategies for enhancing TVET programs.
TESDA IX Regional Director Tarhata S. Mapandi, CESO III, expressed gratitude to the speakers and participants, reiterating TESDA’s commitment to aligning programs with the TESDA Best 8-Point Agenda.
Among the distinguished speakers, Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi, delivered a presentation on “Building Industry-Driven Skills Training Programs.” Engr. Muhi shared the importance of strengthening ties between educational institutions and industries to ensure that graduates are well-equipped for real-world employment. He highlighted that aligning skills training with industry needs is key to addressing the existing skills gap and improving workforce readiness.
Engr. Muhi expressed his gratitude to the participants and extended special appreciation to TESDA Zamboanga for their invitation and support.
The forum concluded with an exchange of ideas, reinforcing the shared commitment to enhancing the relevance and quality of TVET programs. The discussions underscored the importance of industry collaboration, ensuring that technical education remains aligned with workforce demands. This initiative contributed to the ongoing efforts to build a highly skilled, flexible, and competitive workforce in the Philippines.
