Dualtech Center and Provincial Government of Palawan continue to reach out to parents and scholars in Palawan’s remote communities
In a commitment to sustaining youth training programs in Palawan; Dualtech Center and Provincial Government of Palawan together with its SPS Alay sa Kabataan Program officials visited remote communities to meet with the scholars and parents and to provide educational opportunities to deserving students.
During the scholarship signing event in Culion, Palawan, the SPS Alay sa Kabataan, in collaboration with the Provincial Gender and Development (GAD) Office, organized a meet and greet for the parents and scholars of Culion, Palawan. This partnership provides opportunities to deserving students, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in their way.
Dualtech presented its Dual training system program that followed interest among parents and scholars. Many were like to learn more about the program, recognizing its potential to transform lives through training and employment.
One grandmother shared that she had already convinced his grandson to enroll in Dualtech. She believes that the program will not only enhance his skills but also help him grow into a better person. Students also expressed their gratitude towards the Dualtech team and the SPS Alay sa Kabataan for bringing this initiative to their province. They valued the focus on developing their skills and character, which they believe will enable them to give back to Palawan once they succeed.
Governor Dennis Socrates thank ed everyone involved in this program. He pledged his continued support for the youth of Palawan, promising that initiatives like this will be sustained throughout his term and beyond.
Expanding outreach to the remote communities in Palawan, the team continued their outreach efforts in Brgy. Bintuan, Coron, Palawan. The team carried on with their mission to support and connect with the parents and scholars in Palawan’s remote communities.
During the provincial caravan, scholars gathered for an orientation about the Dualtech program. These scholars will begin their training at Dualtech this September.
During the event, a parent of a Dualtech-SPS Alay sa Kabataan scholar encouraged other scholars to study at Dualtech and seize the opportunity offered by the Provincial Government of Palawan. “Don’t stop dreaming because when you finish the program, it’s not just for your family but for yourself to improve the future of your future family,” she said.
She expressed her gratitude to Dualtech, Governor Dennis Socrates, and the SPS Alay sa Kabataan program for including her son as a scholar. “We found a scholarship that will be a bridge for my son to get a good education,” she added. She also hopes that many more students in Palawan will be helped through the partnership between Dualtech, the provincial government, and the SPS Alay sa Kabataan program.
Through these efforts, Dualtech Center and the Provincial Government of Palawan through the SPS Alay sa Kabataan program are not only providing educational opportunities but also creating a sense of hope and opportunity for the youth not just for themselves but for their families and the entire province of Palawan.
