“Develop more globally competitive Filipino skilled workers”: Dualtech Center and Schneider Electric hold a “train the trainors” program

Dualtech Center and Schneider Electric held a 4-day “Train the trainors” program exclusive for five Dualtech learning facilitators and two TVET instructors from Marawi City.

The training session went beyond the usual learning experience to elevate the capabilities of the participants in both theory and hands-on practice. The focus was on honing skills in Industrial Motor Control and various aspects of wiring for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Buildings. The training also included a special emphasis on the principles and design of Photovoltaic installations.

Furthermore, Schneider provided training on the introduction of their technology and products, emphasizing engineering designs and applications for more practical, safe, and reliable technical installations across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

In her opening message, Ms. Ireen Catane, Country President at Schneider Electric Ph, shared the essence of Schneider commitment to positive change and community upliftment. She added that at Schneider Electric, they believe in the transformative power of lending expertise, volunteering time, and collaborating with partners like Dualtech Center. Ms. Ireen emphasizes their dedication to enabling individuals and communities for a better future; she extends her gratitude to everyone who is present and looks forward to many years of collaborative efforts with Dualtech Training Center and TechVoc Institutions, uniting to bridge progress and sustainability for all.

Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi, President and Executive Director of Dualtech Center, challenged the trainers, especially the learning facilitators from Dualtech: “It’s not just about acquiring knowledge; it’s about the transformative power of imparting, growing, and prospering together”. He instills the importance of the ripple effect, stressing that the actions reach far beyond personal gains. “The true measure of success lies in the lives we touch through this partnership” He added.

Engr. Muhi ended his message by saying: “It’s not just a professional endeavor; it’s a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives we encounter”.

The organizers presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Vaibhav Raut, Senior Engineer, Automation and Training Instructor Schneider India, for the knowledge that he imparted to the master trainors.
