DepEd and LGU officials from Catigbian, Bohol attend the immersion program in Dualtech Center
Dualtech Center presented its Work Values and Training Program to the Department of Education (DepEd) officials from Catigbian, Bohol. During the program, Dualtech highlighted its latest programs, including new curriculum offerings, partnerships with various institutions, an in-plant training program with industry partners, and corporate social responsibility projects. The delegates also attended a seminar on achieving work-life balance, which provided valuable insights into navigating professional and personal responsibilities.
The delegates then toured the campus, where they had the opportunity to engage with Dualtech scholars from Bohol. The scholars shared their experiences, and the delegates observed the training programs firsthand. This experience gave the group a deeper understanding of Dualtech’s Electromechanics Technology Program, which integrates work values and technical skills education.
As part of the immersion program, Dualtech Center organized a plant visit to Epson Precision Philippines Inc., to provide participants with a look at the training programs offered by Dualtech and its industry partners, like Epson.
Mr. Yushi Irie, President of Epson Precision Philippines Inc., welcomed the guests, emphasizing the value of collaboration in creating accessible learning opportunities and a supportive environment. “Filipinos are known for being hardworking, skillful, and creative,” he said, reflecting the qualities of Dualtech scholars in the company. Mr. Irie also announced the upcoming Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and local recruitment activities in Catigbian, Bohol, set on April 2, 2025.
Mr. Dong Briones provided an overview of Epson Precision Philippines, followed by a plant tour that allowed guests to see the training program and advanced technologies implemented at Epson. The delegates also had the opportunity to meet Dualtech scholars and alumni.
On the other hand, Ms. Filomena Alo, a Secondary School Principal, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to witness the training programs provided by Dualtech and Epson. She emphasized the strong partnership between the two organizations, which not only engages learners but also enhances their workplace readiness.DepEd and LGU officials from Catigbian Bohol continued their study tour at Honda Philippines. During the visit, Mr. Juan Gerry Datario, Assistant Vice President of HPI’s Business Administration Division, welcomed the group and shared how the partnership with Dualtech has provided not just employment opportunities but also career growth within Honda. Many of HPI’s leaders today started as trainees from Dualtech and have since advanced into key roles within the company.
Ms. Lhea Samson, HPI’s HR Manager, presented an overview of the company and led a plant tour. The group observed Honda’s advanced manufacturing processes and met Dualtech students and alumni currently working at HPI.
Dr. Sarah Mortejo, Public Schools District Supervisor, expressed her optimism about the visit “I see a bright future for our students from Catigbian, Bohol. This partnership has the potential to uplift their families and community. Thank you, Dualtech and Honda, for making this possible.”
