DepEd and LGU officials from Bohol, along with the del monte foundation attended the Dual Training System immersion program

Dualtech Center organized the Dualtech 103 Work Values and Dual Training System immersion program for its guests from the Department of Education (DepEd) and LGU of Dagohoy, San Miguel, and Panglao, Bohol along with the representatives from Del Monte Foundation. This program showcased Dualtech’s training program and partnership with its industry partners.

During the program, Dualtech presented updates on its latest initiatives, including new partnerships, in-plant training with industries, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects. Participants also attended a talk on “The Realities of Life,” emphasizing work-life balance.The visit included a campus tour where officials observed students at work and explored the facilities, gaining insights into Dualtech’s hands-on training approach that integrates work values and technical education.As part of the immersion, the team visited SHI Manufacturing and Services Philippines, Inc. (SHIMS) in Batangas. Ms. Sheryl Coronel, HR Manager of SHIMS, welcomed the delegates to their plant in Batangas, which was followed by a presentation on the company’s profile, CSR projects, and safety orientation before the plant tour.Following the presentation, the guests toured SHIMS’ facilities, to gain a firsthand look at the training processes and advanced technologies at the plant. After the tour, the delegates met with the scholars and graduate from Alicia, San Miguel, and Dagohoy.Dr. Exequiel J. Cifra, Public School District Supervisor, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity: “It was a great help for us to visit SHIMS and gain more information about the training and new technologies here. This visit will enable us to encourage more learners to join Dualtech and transform their lives. Dualtech is a life-changer that instills strong values in its learners.”The team then visited Procter & Gamble (P&G) Philippines, Inc., a global leader in consumer goods, hosted the delegation at its Cabuyao City plant. The visit commenced with a company profile presentation and a safety orientation.The highlight of the event was a guided tour of P&G’s facilities. The guests witnessed the training that Dualtech trainees receive, equipping them with technical expertise and practical experience essential for the careers in the industry.Following the tour, the group engaged in a dialogue with scholars from Candijay, Bohol, and Negros Occidental. These trainees expressed gratitude to Dualtech and P&G for their support. They shared how the program’s combination of skills training and values formation has helped them with purpose and direction in life.Back at Dualtech, the Department of Education (DepEd) Bohol Division recognized the Dualtech Training Center with a Plaque of Recognition for its contribution and unwavering support in implementing various educational programs and projects for the School Division Office of Bohol in 2024.Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi, President and Executive Director of Dualtech Center, expressed his gratitude to DepEd Bohol for the recognition. “This motivates us even more to continue guiding and training scholars from Bohol. Our commitment is to help them find stable jobs that will secure better futures for themselves and their families”.

This recognition is a testament to a shared vision of providing career opportunities for Boholanos.
