“Create the best operators and make sure we have the best program”: Dualtech Center and Unilab Pharma Academy hold second Electric Motor Controls Training
A month after its successful first session on Electric Motor Controls training, Dualtech held a second session in collaboration again with Unilab Pharma Academy and under the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Development Alliance (AMdev) program. Forty five participants attended this event, the coverage of which was similar to the previous session, i.e. industrial control systems directed towards industrial applications. The event was held in Amherst Laboratories, Unilab Pharma Campus last October 17, 2023.
Mr. Limuel Razo, Corporate Vice President of Unilab, Inc. gave the welcome remarks and Mr. Wrian Abuel, Manager and Dean of Unilab Pharma Academy explained the AMDev program. Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi gave a message on behalf of Dualtech.
One highlight which differentiate this training from the first was the opportunity for participants to use and test more different types of electrical equipment.
In his welcome remarks, Mr. Razo took time to share how this unique program is the start of huge opportunities that benefits the domestic industry and economy as a whole: “Yung human capital developments is a major criteria para magdecide ang isang investor na pumasok sa bansa. Kaya kung sa tingin nila nandito sa pilipinas ang matitinding operators para sa ganitong klase ng industriya, dito sila pupunta [Human capital developments is a major criteria for investors to decide if they will have a presence in a country. If they want to try and look for the top operators in the industry, they can try looking here.]… Ang objective ng Pharma Academy, ng Unilab is for us to create the best pharmaceutical operator and to make sure that we have the best program. We multiply ourselves by sharing our knowledge with a number of industries, with a number of companies…Lumalaki ng lumalaki yung engagement natin across the region sa ngayong naka focus sa region 4-A and very soon sa region 3 and then by next year sa region 7 [Our engagement is widening across the regions, so for now we are focused on Region 4-A. But soon we will be at Region 3, and by next year we will be at Region 7].”
Dualtech President Engr. Jerry Webb Muhi thanked the organizers, especially Unilab for this collaboration of learning collectively and sharing knowledge: “We’re happy that we are accommodated by Unilab and we are so thankful that Unilab is very much open to assisting us. We should have that concept of being able to impart whatever we learn. Dualtech is your school also, you can visit us, Unilab is our partner in training and whatever what we have from here, we share it and we don’t let it stop with us.”
