“Celebrating 35 Years, Empowering 35 Dreams”: Dualtech and Triton’s Scholarship and Training Opportunities for Bohol Learners

Dualtech Center and Triton Industrial Plastic Mfg. Corp. visited various communities in Bohol, providing scholarships and training opportunities to local students. With the support of the DepEd Bohol Division and local government units, many students now have the chance to continue their education and explore more opportunities for their future. For these learners, the program is more than just financial aid—it’s a life-changing opportunity to achieve their dreams.The team made a courtesy visit to Dr. Fay Luarez, the Schools Division Superintendent of Bohol Province Division Office.During the visit, Mr. Malvin Ching, General Manager of Triton Industrial, announced the scholarship grants for students from Bohol. This initiative is part of Triton’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to support the education and skill development of young learners who aspire to pursue a career in Electromechanics Technology.

Dr. Faye Luarez expressed her gratitude for the opportunity given to Boholano learners. She recalled her visit to Dualtech Center last year, where she personally witnessed the hands-on training and values formation the students undergo. Seeing the impact of the program, she expressed confidence that these scholarships will be life-changing for the recipients.The team then visited Panglao, Bohol, in collaboration with DepEd Bohol Division.During the event, Mr. Malvin Ching, Triton Industrial’s General Manager, shared the company’s vision for the scholarship program, stating that their primary goal is to uplift those who receive sponsorship. He emphasized that the company finds fulfillment in seeing scholars improve their lives and expects nothing in return. Regardless of whether recipients choose to stay with the company or pursue opportunities elsewhere, Triton Industrial remains committed to supporting their decisions.As part of their “Celebrating 35 Years, Empowering 35 Dreams” campaign, Triton Industrial will grant scholarships to learners from Panglao after evaluating their application forms.In the continuous effort of the team to support the learners of Bohol communities, the team conducted career talks and a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in Tagbilaran City, Atrium Hall.Triton Industrial presented its company profile to introduce its products and training programs to the students. One of the highlights of the event was the scholarship screening, where Triton interviewed and selected deserving students.Many senior high school learners participated, among them was a working student who had long been aware of Dualtech’s training program but had never had the opportunity to apply. This time, he made the firm decision to join. For him, Triton’s scholarship represented a stepping stone—a chance to break free from limited options. He expressed his determination, stating that if selected, he would give his best effort, recognizing that this might be his last opportunity. With limited prospects in his hometown, he aspired to explore opportunities elsewhere and build a good future.The campaign continued in Garcia Hernandez Division Office, bringing the training and scholarship opportunities closer to the local communities. The visit became the highest number of learners attending and participating in the career talks and scholarship program screening.The event welcomed students from various schools, including Camboyo High School, Tabuan National High School, Garcia Hernandez High School, St. John the Baptist Academy, and ALS Garcia Hernandez.One senior high school student shared his gratitude for the visit, noting how it marked a first for Garcia Hernandez. He expressed excitement about the opportunity to explore his potential in Electromechanics Technology, a field he believes could change his life. With his parents facing challenges due to unstable jobs, he sees this scholarship as a chance to continue his studies and enhance his skills with the guidance of Dualtech and Triton.In the final leg of Dualtech Center and Triton Industrial’s career talks and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the team visited Anda, Bohol, to wrap up their campaign of empowering local youth through scholarship opportunities and career development.Hon. Mayor Angelina B. Simacio welcomed the guests and expressed her gratitude for their efforts in bringing career opportunities to the youth of Anda. She shared how she had supported the program from the beginning, even allocating funds for the trip and providing allowances for the learners who would be joining Dualtech program, ensuring that youth in the community can benefit from these opportunities.The event’s highlight was the final screening of Triton Industrial Plastic Mfg. Corp.’s scholarship program. The learners who were screened shared stories of their struggles and aspirations. One Senior High School learner, who has nine siblings and whose parents face unemployment, expressed his determination to continue his education despite the challenges. He shared that he was inspired by the support organizations like Dualtech and Triton offer, seeing it as a chance to uplift himself and his family.“If chosen as a scholar, I will give my best and work hard for myself and the people I love,” he said. With the support of Dualtech, the local government unit of Anda, Bohol and Triton Industrial, many of these students now see a promising and stable future ahead.
