BEST COOPERATING COMPANIES FOR 2022 LAUDED IN ANNUAL TRADITION

As part of its ongoing 40thFounding Anniversary, Dualtech continues its annual recognition of the “Best Cooperating Companies” for 2022.  The awards event last March 29, 2023 acknowledged the school’s active industry partners that distinguished themselves.

The awards actually serve an important role in communicating the school’s message to the industry. For example, recognized partners are encouraged to continue disseminating further their best workplace practices and standards. Aside from this, when employees eventually leave these workplace for other opportunities, they bring new value and know-how to other institutions. Thus, as a whole, the philosophy behind the dual training system evolves and improves, and overtime many industry stakeholders benefit.

Dualtech’s Partnerships and Programs Office, announced the companies from the pool of the school’s current active industry partners. The awards, which follow rigorous selection criteria, are a way of the school to recognize best practices in fostering a culture of professional excellence. Dualtech considers it an honor that through the dual training system, companies make trainees take part in their success.

Among the highlights from the speakers were those from Mr. Jerry Muhi, Executive Director of Dualtech, who commented that “for 2022, we achieved the 2nd highest student intake of Dualtech in its history. And I would always say it happened not because we were all over, but it’s more because of the partner companies that continue to support us.”

Company representatives present during the ceremonies took turns giving glimpses into the impact of Dualtech trainees on their respective workplaces. Mr. Arnold Chung of Handling Innovation explained their appreciation of Dualtech trainees: “We were so happy with this collaboration with Dualtech, so much so that we have referred them to Toyota Sweden who has started sponsoring students. We really try to spread the good word to our friends in the industry.”

Meanwhile, Ms. Yorelyn Balani, HR Officer of the Futaba Corporation of the Philippines, gave importance to the future roles the trainees will eventually play: “Our partnership with Dualtech started many years ago, but we still decided to continue the partnership because of the edge of the Dualtech trainees. [These are] trainees who are very much dedicated to what they are doing… In Futaba, some are now supervisors and managers. The product of the school is that they really become the future’s valuable workforce. So we look forward and we hope Dualtech can reach less privileged people. Thank you for helping them achieve their dreams.”
