Alumni bring Dualtech to their hometown in Quezon to promote the Electromechanics Technology program
To foster strong connections between Dualtech and its graduates, one of the key programs of Dualtech’s alumni relations office is to encourage alumni to actively promote Dualtech in their respective provinces. This initiative not only helps in reaching potential enrollees but also strengthens the network of Dualtech graduates who continue to support and uplift the institution’s mission.
Mr. Derrick Bunao, Dualtech alumnus from Dolores, Quezon, and now co-owner of Carco Industrial Machine Services, gave back to his community by introducing Dualtech’s Electromechanics Technology program to students at his former high school, Sta. Lucia National High School.
To support the youth in his province, Mr. Bunao invited Dualtech to share its program with students, offering them new opportunities. Through his initiative, more youth in Quezon will have access to industry-driven training, equipping them with skills in electromechanics with values formation.
The Dualtech Center team then visited San Roque Parochial School Inc. in Brgy. Ilasan, Tayabas City, Quezon to conduct career talks. This initiative was arranged by Mr. Jester Caagbay, Dualtech alumnus, who currently serves as Admin Aide III at Tayabas City Hall.
The team also introduced Dualtech’s program to students and parents in the Pagbilao, Quezon through Engr. Pedrito Talavera Jr., a Dualtech alumnus and now an employee of Korea Electric Power Industrial Development (KEPID). He volunteered to support the promotion and expansion of the institution’s offerings.
During the orientation, Engr. Talavera shared his life story, encouraging students to dream big and pursue their goals. His journey from student to professional resonated with them, inspiring them to develop a positive attitude and strive for a better career. Engr. Talavera remains committed to guiding and mentoring young students, sharing the core values that Dualtech instills in its graduates.
The involvement of these alumni highlights their commitment to promoting Dualtech’s mission of providing technical education and shaping the youth not only with skills but also with character.
