Skills and Virtues Honed by Dualtech for RMNF Scholars

“While studying here in Dualtech, I was able to form good habits such as waking up early, helping with the chores, and also praying which my family was fond of noticing. I am thankful to RMN Foundation for providing a scholarship and also for giving me a tablet which will aid me with my school activities.”
– Jhon Harnith Fuazo, 5th Henry R. Canoy Scholar
Dualtech together with RMN Foundation was invited at the radio program CENTRO SERBISYO (DZXL 558 kHz MANILA RADYO TRABAHO) hosted by Radio DJ Ms. Jenny Pahilanga last 27th of July 2022, in relation to the fundamental technical training and values formation of Dualtech Center. To impart more knowledge about these two disciplines which Dualtech teaches, the Director of Fundamentals Training & Basic Mentoring Mr. Joel Del Rosario and Chaplain Fr. Raul Asuncion were the guests alongside the scholar Jhon Harnith Fuazo.
Harnith was a senior high school graduate in Sta Rosa City. He shared that in Dualtech, he was able to build the right discipline and values even during his early months of stay with the school. He does not only learn the basic skills, but also understand the value of praying and possessing good character. Harnith was the 5th Henry R. Canoy Scholar from Radio Mindanao Network (RMN) Foundation.
Fr. Raul Asuncion invited scholars across the country to study in Dualtech as everyone is welcome to learn regardless of their faith. He also shared that there is a daily celebration of masses which the Dualtech staff and students attend. Staff receive coaching on their work, while students also receive mentoring for their studies, likewise both receive faith and values formation through various talks. These are some of the ways Dualtech ensures that there is a balance between work and virtue as displayed on its core taglines.
Mr. Joel del Rosario on the other hand shared the training aspect of the students during their 2-year study for Electromechanics Technology. During the initial training of the students, they undergo Basic Stage Training Program (BSTP) wherein they will get training in Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical trades.
RMNF was represented by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Officer Mr. Patrick Aurelio who shared the good news of this scholarship program while also giving a tablet in support for the educational pursuit of the said scholar. The foundation is celebrating its 10th year anniversary and in line with that event, they will sponsor seven scholars with Dualtech. They will also help broadcast signals of hope to aspiring Filipino young men across the country who want to become technical professionals.
