Papal Nuncio Celebrates Holy Mass at Dualtech
Dualtech Training Center welcomed the Papal Nuncio for the celebration of the Holy Mass, where students, faculty, staff, and members of the community gathered in prayer and reflection. In his homily, he shared a message about vocation, emphasizing that professional training and Christian faith go hand in hand.
Reflecting on the reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians, Most Reverend Charles John Brown highlighted the call to live in a manner worthy of one’s vocation. He connected this message to Dualtech’s mission of providing vocational education, reminding students that learning a profession is more than developing technical skills. It also means building competence, honesty, and trustworthiness in their chosen field.
He encouraged students to continue improving their abilities and to take pride in doing their work well, whether in mechanics, electronics, or other technical fields. He reminded them that doing their work with dedication and integrity is not only a way to fulfill their professional responsibilities but also a way to please God.
Papal Nuncio also reflected on the meaning of Dualtech, pointing out that the word “dual” represents two aspects of a person’s vocation: the professional and the spiritual. While students prepare for their future careers, they are also called to grow in faith, live as Christians, and follow God’s teachings.
He emphasized that these two aspects should not be treated separately. Instead, professional development and spiritual growth should complement each other. He illustrated this connection through the Eucharist, explaining how the bread and wine, products of human work, are offered at the altar and transformed into the Body and Blood of Christ. In the same way, he encouraged everyone to bring their faith into their daily work and responsibilities.
As he concluded his homily, Papal Nuncio encouraged the students, teachers, and staff to maintain a balance between their professional and spiritual lives. He also asked the community to pray for Pope Leo XIV and sought the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary for the students’ success in their studies and future careers.
The celebration served as a reminder that education and work are not only about gaining skills and building careers. They are also opportunities to practice Christian values, serve others, and grow in faith.
