DepEd officials from Bohol and Antique Witness Dualtech’s Work Values and Immersion Program in action
The Department of Education (DepEd) from Loon, Bohol, and Pandan, Antique participated in Dualtech Center’s Work Values and Dual Training System Immersion Program.
Through this visit, the delegates saw firsthand how training prepares Dualtech scholars for the industry. During the program, Dualtech shared updates on its latest initiatives, including new industry partnerships, in-plant training, and curriculum enhancements.
During the event, the delegates attended a talk about life’s realities, where they were encouraged to reflect on their situations and consider how they can make positive changes in their lives. The visit also included a campus tour, where the officials observed scholars engaged in training. They explored the facilities and saw how Dualtech integrates technical education with work values.
As part of the immersion program, Dualtech organized a company visit to Yamaha Motor Philippines, to learn more about the training partnership with Yamaha Motor. The guests were also given a tour of Yamaha’s production facility, where they observed the actual motorcycle manufacturing process and the technical skills required in the industry. The guests expressed their appreciation and intend to share these learnings with their students to inspire them to pursue careers through Dualtech Center’s industry partnerships.
The delegates then visited Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. in Tanauan City, Batangas. The visit provided an opportunity for the DepEd representatives to gain first-hand insights into Murata’s advanced manufacturing operations and its ten-year partnership with Dualtech.
The two institutions celebrate a decade of partnership, continuously collaborating to provide opportunities for scholars and trainees, preparing them to become skilled professionals who contribute to the growth of the manufacturing industry in the Philippines.
