Dualtech Center reaches Antique and Aklan to provide technical education with values formation
Dualtech Center brought its Electromechanics Technology Program to the provinces of Antique and Aklan. The visit was filled with activities—from school visits and career talks to a live radio guesting—all aimed at introducing the youth to technical education with values formation, offering opportunities for stable careers and greater employability.
The Dualtech team first visited the Municipality of San Jose de Buenavista in the Province of Antique to present its Electromechanics Technology Program. As part of the visit, the group participated in a radio guesting on DYKA Radyo Totoo, the media arm of the Diocese of San Jose de Antique, managed by Kauswagan Broadcasting Corporation, which reached audiences across Palawan, Iloilo, and Antique.
The team also visited Antique National School, where they met with Senior High School students from the TVL track. Hon. Vice Mayor Joanne Amor D. Dolor attended the event and expressed her appreciation for Dualtech’s commitment to education and skills development. The Dualtech team also had a courtesy visit to the Most Reverend Bishop Marvyn A. Maceda to discuss the Dualtech program, which aims to provide technical education and career opportunities for underprivileged youth.
Dualtech Center representatives continue its career talks in the Municipality of Culasi, Antique, to present its program to Senior High School students of Northern Antique Vocational School and Barbaza National High School.
Ms. Ma. Cozette Peñaflorida, Principal of Barbaza National High School, welcomed the team and expressed her gratitude to Dualtech Center for providing career opportunities to their students.
During the sessions, many students showed interest in the program and inquired about the enrollment process. Teachers assured them that they would provide guidance to help interested students pursue technical training and career development at Dualtech.
To bring career opportunities to students in Malay, Aklan, the team—together with community coordinator Mr. Raymund Gumboc—visited the area to introduce Dualtech’s Electromechanics Technology Program. They reached several schools on Boracay Island, including Boracay National High School, Lamberto H. Tirol National High School, and Manocmanoc National High School.
Many students showed interest in Dualtech’s hands-on training, recognizing it as an opportunity to develop skills and secure a stable job in the future. Through the Dualtech program, they see a stepping stone to support themselves and their families.
Ms. Churchill C. Gumboc, principal of Lamberto H. Tirol National High School, believes in Dualtech’s mission. She is confident that her students will not only benefit from the program but also secure long-term employment. Committed to expanding this opportunity, she plans to share the program with her colleagues, ensuring that more students gain access to quality education and training.
Through these visits, Dualtech Center continues to inspire hope and provide real opportunities—turning that hope into achievable goals for the youth in the Visayas region.
