Dualtech Center and Mdc Group hold Catia Training for Industry Partners
After SolidWorks and SolidCAM training, Dualtech Center, in collaboration with the MDC Group, hosted a specialized CATIA training exclusively for industry partners of Dualtech. The two-day training focused on advanced design tools and techniques, catering to the needs of industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, and Fabrication.
The training welcomed participants from partner companies like Ramcar Technology Inc., Roberts Automotive and Industrial Parts Manufacturing Corp., Terrafirma Motors Corp., and TRP, Inc. The participants had the opportunity to deepen their skills in key areas like Part Design, Dress-Up Features, Assembly Design, 2D Drawing including dimensions and annotations, and Wireframe and Surface Design.
Mr. Jefferson Gonzales, Dualtech’s Head for Partnerships and Programs gave the opening message, thanking the industry partners who attended. He expressed his hope that the new skills learned would be shared within their respective teams and applied to ongoing and future projects.
This CATIA training is part of a series of programs designed to enhance the technical capabilities of Dualtech’s industry partners, ensuring they stay at the forefront of innovation in their fields.
Engr. Jerry Webb Muhi, Dualtech’s President and Executive Director delivered the closing remarks , offering words of encouragement to the participants. He emphasized the importance of applying what they had learned, saying, “What you have learned here today should not be wasted. Use it to develop further.”
Engr. Muhi also invited the participants to seek out additional learning opportunities, saying, “If you still want training, don’t hesitate to suggest it to us because we also want you to develop your skills in different aspects of training.” Engr. Muhi ended his speech with a challenge, urging them to return to their departments with fresh knowledge and a desire to contribute to the growth of their teams.
The participants showed interest for another future seminar, expressing engagement in learning more advanced features of CATIA and SolidWorks, advanced 3D drawing, sheet metal design, and actual fabrication planning.
Many attendees shared that mastering these advanced tools would greatly benefit their current roles. They look forward to future training sessions that focus on specialized topics, allowing them to apply more sophisticated techniques in their projects.
