Sibuyan Island, Romblon, backs Dualtech’s campaign to provide students with career opportunities
Dualtech Training Center visited Sibuyan Island, Romblon, to introduce its Electromechanics Technology program to students of Cajidiocan National High School and Lumbang East National High School. The team participated in the Career Advocacy Expo, alongside community coordinators Engr. Edgar Mayor and Jomer Martinez from the Office of the Governor.
During the event, Ms. Remy R. Mayor of Lumbang East National High School expressed her gratitude for the opportunity extended to their students. She shared that some students were already planning a visit to Dualtech’s campus and noted that several teachers’ relatives are currently Dualtech scholars, now undergoing in-plant training and supporting themselves through the program.
At Cajidiocan National High School, Head Teacher Ms. Emelinda C. Fadri led a student-parent career orientation, where many students and parents expressed keen interest in the program. Ms. Fadri highlighted the advantages of Dualtech’s industry-based training, stating, “Dualtech graduates have hands-on training in the industry, making them more employable.Dualtech Center continued its Career Advocacy Expo and was welcomed by parents and students of Don Carlos M. Mejia Memorial High School. Many students expressed interest in Dualtech’s Electromechanics Technology Program, recognizing it as an opportunity to develop skills and expand their career prospects.
The team also visited España National High School, where teachers and the school principal gained new insights into the opportunities Dualtech offers. Learning about an institution that provides both technical training and values formation inspired them to explore how Dualtech could benefit their students.
The group then visited Magdiwang National High School to complete the Career Advocacy Expo, presenting its Electromechanics Technology program to students and the community. During the visit, the team met a mother whose son is currently undergoing on-the-job training (OJT) at Plasticplus, a Dualtech industry partner. She shared how proud she was of her son’s progress and encouraged other students to consider joining Dualtech.
To advance the campaign, the team also visited Agutay National High School with the support of its Senior High School Coordinator, where they met another mother of a Dualtech trainee. She expressed her gratitude as she witnessed her son’s transformation—not just in technical skills, but also in character and values.
