Philippine Ecozones Association President challenges graduates to be ambassadors of change
Dualtech Training Center held its Commencement Exercises to recognize 104 work-trainees who received their diplomas for completing the two-year Electromechanics Technology course.
The ceremony was attended by guests, including officials from the Department of Education (DepEd)) of Loon, Bohol, as well as DepEd officials from Pandan, Antique. Industry partners were also present, including representatives from Nuvali Steel Processing Center, Lao Foundation, Inc., and the Adamson University Cocofed Scholars-Alumni Foundation, Inc., who witnessed the graduation of their trainees and scholars.
“Today’s accomplishments were once yesterday’s impossibilities.” These were the words of Jhon Carlo Visquera, a scholar from Quezon, under the Marubeni Scholarship Foundation, as he delivered a message filled with gratitude and hope during the commencement exercises. For Jhon Carlo, true success is not only measured by medals or diplomas, but by the lessons of perseverance, discipline, faith, and compassion learned throughout their years in Dualtech and in life.
In his message of gratitude, he thanked Dualtech Training Center for molding not only their skills but also their character. He expressed appreciation to Handling Innovation Inc. and the Marubeni Scholarship Foundation for their support and guidance, and most of all, to his family for their sacrifices.
“This diploma is not mine alone—it belongs to you,” he said with emotion. As he closed, Jhon Carlo urged his fellow graduates to carry with them the values they learned and to continue dreaming big while staying grounded in faith and humility.
Mr. Francisco Zaldarriaga, President of the Philippine Ecozones Association (PHILEA), served as the guest speaker during the Dualtech Center’s Commencement Exercises. Mr. Zaldarriaga commended the graduates for their hard work, discipline, and determination. “Today is not just a ceremony—it’s a celebration of transformation,” he said. Addressing the new graduates of the Electromechanics Technology program, he described the event as both a milestone and a commitment to change.
Mr. Zaldarriaga acknowledged that each Dualtech student carried a unique story—some marked by struggle, others by quiet perseverance. He noted that many came from communities where opportunities once seemed out of reach, yet they now stood tall as future professionals, builders of the future, and leaders of change. He emphasized the importance of integrity and discipline, reminding the graduates that true success extends beyond skills and achievements; it is rooted in the values that shape one’s destiny.
He emphasized that such transformation must begin with the new generation of professionals, referring to the Class of 2025 as catalysts for that change. He also commended Dualtech for being a “faculty for change,” a training ground that molds raw potential into excellence through practical learning and values formation.
As he concluded his message, Mr. Zaldarriaga encouraged the graduates to live with purpose, integrity, and faith. He reminded them that the world needs not only skilled workers but also innovators with humility, professionals with purpose, and leaders guided by faith in God. He encouraged them to carry the Dualtech spirit wherever they go, to serve rather than just succeed, and to let their lives reflect the values the school stands for. “Go for it—not just to earn, but to uplift. Let your life be the loudest testimony of what Dualtech stands for.” He challenged the graduates to pursue success with compassion and dedication, reminding them that their future begins today.
During the ceremony, Dualtech also recognized its alumni who successfully passed the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) examination. Engr. Jerry Webb E. Muhi, Dualtech’s President and Executive Director, along with Engr. Romel T. Baccay, Alumni Relations Coordinator, recognized the following Alumni:
