Largest distributor of Forklift Handling Innovation signs partnership with Dualtech Center for Forklift service technician and operator training program
Dualtech Center and Handling Innovation signed a Memorandum of Agreement for an exclusive forklift training program for its Dualtech trainees, which will also be made available to other industry partners.
As part of this partnership, Handling Innovation donated forklifts, tools, and equipment, and funded the renovation of a training room at the Dualtech Center. This facility will be used by Dualtech trainees selected to undergo the training program, who will also be accepted as trainees at Handling Innovation in Paranaque City.
During the signing ceremony, Mr. Arnold Chung of Handling Innovation expressed his gladness at being an integral part of the trainees’ training program. “We are very happy to become part of their (Dualtech trainees) lives and in how we have contributed to their career growth and life skills,” Mr. Chung stated.
Mr. Chung also added that this training initiative will not only serve the demands of the Philippines but also align to serve the demand of Toyota globally.
Dualtech trainees had also expressed their gratitude for this training opportunity. Among them is Patrick Aldave who recently passed the screening for Forklift Training. For Patrick, this opportunity feels like destiny. “Before I enrolled at Dualtech, I was considering whether to train at Toyota or Dualtech. It’s really a destiny that I’m going to train at Toyota now,” he shared. Patrick did not hesitate when the screening opportunity came. “When they told me about the screening for this Forklift Training, I immediately said yes. I can really say that when our training starts, I’ll get better indeed.”
Engr. Jerry Webb Muhi, President and Executive Director of Dualtech Center, highlighted the fruitful history of collaborations between Dualtech Center and Handling Innovation. He noted the high interest in the program and the importance of meeting Handling Innovation’s expectations. “There are many who are interested in this program, and we cannot fail Toyota Handling’s expectations. I know it’s pressure even on us,” Engr. Muhi remarked.
“This day may seem like a typical MOA signing, but its effect, the net result, could be much more,” he concluded.
