Dualtech Training Center Expands Partnership in Davao Region
Dualtech Training Center has officially partnered with TESDA Region XI through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote enterprise-based training in Davao Region.
The collaboration aims to strengthen the implementation of the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) program, opening more opportunities for TVET learners to gain practical workplace skills. This initiative supports a smoother transition from school to employment by ensuring that training programs are aligned with industry needs.
Also present during the event was Sandvik, which introduced its operations in Davao and expressed support for initiatives that enhance technical-vocational education and industry collaboration.
As part of the engagement, the Dualtech team also met with Damosa Land, presenting its training programs and learning more about Damosa’s operations in the region. Both organizations recognized potential areas for cooperation in future training opportunities.
The group likewise visited Sandvik’s facilities, where they explored possible program registrations under EBET. Areas such as Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC III and key automotive core competencies were identified as prospects for integration into the training framework.
In TESDA Davao de Oro, Provincial Director Abegail Bernadez Eupeña welcomed the Dualtech team during a courtesy visit that focused on exploring apprenticeship opportunities through EBET. The meeting reaffirmed TESDA’s and Dualtech’s shared goal of providing industry-relevant education and training.
This series of engagements highlights the shared vision of TESDA Region XI, Dualtech Training Center, and partner industries—to nurture a skilled Filipino workforce, create local employment opportunities, and drive regional growth through Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET).
