Dualtech Training Center and Del Monte Foundation Expand Access to Technical Education for Bukidnon Learners

Dualtech Training Center continues to expand opportunities for technical education by bringing career orientation sessions to Senior High School students in Bukidnon. Through its partnership with Del Monte Foundation, the initiative aims to introduce youth to pathways toward technical skills development and employment.The team first visited Vista Villa National High School in Sumilao, Bukidnon. Senior High School students were introduced to the Electromechanics Technology course, which combines classroom instruction, hands-on training, and in-plant experience with partner industries. The session provided an overview of how the program equips students for technical careers.Dualtech also shared updates on former trainees from Sumilao who successfully completed the program. Del Monte Foundation presented the achievements of its scholars from Bukidnon who are part of the Zero Extreme Poverty (ZEP) 2030 movement, many of whom secured employment shortly after completing their training.

The team then visited Lurugan National High School in Valencia City, Bukidnon, to introduce students to the Electromechanics Technology program and the opportunities it provides. The session included a presentation on Dualtech’s program, industry partnerships, and success stories of its graduates, giving students a clear view of potential career paths.A representative from Del Monte also shared insights about their scholars and highlighted the strong collaboration with Dualtech, emphasizing the employment opportunities available to program graduates. Students were able to see how technical training can lead to practical, real-world outcomes.The orientation generated interest among students and were motivated by the program’s job-ready training approach and the potential for stable employment, with some viewing the program as a stepping stone toward working abroad and achieving their long-term career goals.
