Dualtech promotes Industry Partnership and Community Development in Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon

Dualtech Training Center continued its mission to strengthen partnerships with various stakeholders through a series of visits in Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon. These engagements aimed to promote technical training, expand collaboration with enterprises, and support community development initiatives.
The Dualtech team paid a courtesy visit to the TESDA Misamis Oriental Provincial Office, where they met with Provincial Director Marigold Cherie R. Garrido. The discussion focused on the implementation of the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) program, with Dualtech expressing its commitment to help TESDA promote EBET to more enterprises in the province. Director Garrido welcomed the initiative, recognizing Dualtech as a valuable partner in addressing TESDA’s challenge of encouraging more enterprises to participate in EBET.
As part of the visit, Dualtech representatives also met with Del Monte Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) through the Del Monte Foundation to present training programs. DMPI expressed its need for trainees to support ongoing operations, opening opportunities for collaboration in manpower development and technical training.
The team likewise visited Nutrimax Fresh-Baked Inc., a subsidiary of Gardenia located in Misamis Oriental, to explore areas of cooperation, particularly in deploying Dualtech trainees to support the company’s workforce needs.

In Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental, the team partnered with the Del Monte Foundation for a dialogue with the Fisher Folks and Mangrove Planters Association, exploring potential CSR initiatives with Yamaha Motor Philippines. Dualtech also highlighted its ongoing partnership with the Del Monte Foundation, presenting scholars from Bukidnon currently enrolled in the Electromechanics Technology course.

Community members expressed strong support for the scholarship program, pledging to help promote it within their association. This initiative blends livelihood support with educational opportunities—addressing both immediate and long-term community needs while contributing to local development.
Further engagements included a meeting with the Malaybalay City Corn Growers Association in Brgy. Dalwangan, where discussions on Yamaha’s upcoming CSR project this October 2025 took place. The farmers proposed water pumps and engine donations to boost productivity and strengthen their livelihood. Community leaders and members welcomed Yamaha’s support, recognizing its potential to uplift local farmers.
In Barangay Patpat, Dualtech and the Del Monte Foundation met with Vegetable Farmers and Fisherfolks Associations to discuss livelihood needs. With many residents belonging to the Indigenous Bukidnon Tribe, the community expressed the need for water pumps and engines to sustain farming and fishery operations. Meanwhile, in Cabanglasan, the groups worked with local associations to identify CSR beneficiaries and reinforce partnerships.

Beyond CSR initiatives, Dualtech promoted its 2-Year Electromechanics Technology Program, reaffirming its mission to provide quality technical training and create opportunities for the youth.

By promoting its training programs and supporting livelihood initiatives, Dualtech continues to equip Filipino youth with the skills and values formation essential for long-term career success.
