Dualtech expands opportunities for youth in Zamboanga Region through Career Talk and Trainee Deployment

Creating opportunities for youth is a key focus of Dualtech Training Center. In Guban, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte, a Career Talk at Dacon National High School introduced students to industry-based training pathways and future employment opportunities.

Guban, Sirawai is a community known for its agricultural and fishing-based livelihood. The visit was organized in partnership with the Orani Suhay Foundation to encourage graduating senior high school students to pursue Electromechanics Technology.The team presented its industry-based training program, which has already enrolled three batches of scholars from the school. Four (4) Dualtech and Orani Suhay Foundation scholars were also present to share their in-school training and their upcoming on-the-job training (OJT) at Century Pacific Food Inc. Their testimonies inspired the students and provided them with a clearer understanding of the training program, its opportunities, and the career pathways available after completion.

In line with efforts to strengthen partnerships and collaboration, a courtesy visit was conducted with TESDA Zamboanga City and TESDA Regional Training Center. The engagement reinforced mutual support in promoting and expanding opportunities for aspiring trainees in the region. During the visit, Dualtech trainees were endorsed for deployment to Century Pacific Food in Zamboanga City, marking a significant milestone as the first batch of trainees in the area. This deployment underscores the organization’s continued commitment to bridging education and industry while opening new avenues for workforce development in Zamboanga.As Dualtech continues to expand its reach in Zamboanga, these initiatives reflect a shared commitment among partners to empower the youth through skills development and employment. By connecting education, industry, and community, more learners are given the chance to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
