Dualtech, DepEd Cebu, and Ibiden Philippines conduct outreach activities in Cebu

Dualtech Training Center collaborated with the Department of Education (DepEd) Cebu Province and industry partner Ibiden Philippines through a series of engagements and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at expanding access to education and employment opportunities for Cebuanos.The team visited Barili for a career talk and CSR activity for ALS teachers and learners. Barili is a first-class municipality in the southwestern part of Cebu known for its agriculture-based economy, particularly livestock, corn, and coconut production, as well as emerging small enterprises and tourism-related activities.The District of Barili gathered participants from the local government units, ALS learners, and ALS teachers, including representatives from other districts, to attend the career talk conducted by Dualtech. In the program titled “Orientating Deserving Youth to Become Scholars,” Dualtech Training Center presented its industry-based training program, which has already produced graduates from Barili who are now working in various technical fields.Ibiden Philippines participated in the activity by sharing its training partnership programs and employment opportunities available for learners. Ibiden Philippines donated laptops to ALS teachers, which will enhance their teaching delivery and support more efficient preparation of instructional content for ALS learners.

The team also visited Badian, Cebu as organized by the DepEd Cebu Division Office and the District of Badian. Together with its school officials, Dualtech Training Center and Ibiden Philippines were welcomed for a career talk and CSR activity.Dualtech presented its training program, a course that equips learners with competencies in electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems commonly used in industrial and manufacturing environments. The program highlights the Dual Training System, which ensures that graduates are industry-ready, and it has already produced successful alumni from Badian, Cebu who are now employed in various technical fields.

Ibiden Philippines gave an inspiring talk to learners, encouraging them to pursue further education and skills training through Dualtech, with opportunities for employment and on-the-job training in their facilities upon completion. During the activity, Ibiden Philippines donated a laptop to ALS teacher, which will support digital teaching delivery and enhance learning facilitation for ALS learners.The team continued its outreach in Malabuyoc, Cebu. Dualtech presented its training programs, highlighting successful graduates from Malabuyoc who have benefited from industry-based education and training.

The industry partnership was also highlighted, particularly in developing technical professionals aligned with current industry requirements. Ibiden Philippines was featured as a partner supporting Dualtech in this mission.Ibiden Philippines shared its collaboration with Dualtech and presented the opportunities and benefits available to learners who enroll in the Electromechanics Technology program, including hands-on training and potential employment pathways. During the visit, Ibiden Philippines donated laptops to ALS teachers to support digital learning, improve lesson delivery, and enhance access to educational resources.These engagements across Cebu reaffirm the partnership among Dualtech Training Center, DepEd Cebu, and Ibiden Philippines in promoting accessible education, skills development, and employment opportunities.
