Dualtech Center, in partnership with SHI Manufacturing Services Philippines, has extended its support to the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in various communities across Bohol. This effort aims to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in ALS by donating laptops and school supplies, conducting career talks, and implementing corporate social responsibility initiatives that equip both teachers and learners with the tools and knowledge necessary for personal and professional development. The team first visited Dagohoy, Bohol for the turnover ceremony of laptops and school supplies donated by SHIMS. The laptops were handed over to Mr. Exequiel J. Cifra, Public Schools District Supervisor, together with DepEd Dagohoy ALS teachers. The laptop will be used by ALS teachers and learners as tools to enhance teaching and learning materials. SHIMS also donated school supplies and a laptop to support the learning needs of ALS teachers and students in Tagbilaran City. The group’s last community visit also marked the team’s first visit to the municipality of Sagbayan, Bohol.
