Dualtech Center and DSWD Palawan collaborate to expand opportunities for the youth
Dualtech Training Center, in collaboration with DSWD Palawan, reached out to communities across the province to introduce career opportunities for the youth. Through visits and career orientations in El Nido, Taytay, San Vicente, and Puerto Princesa City, Dualtech presented how its training programs, together with industry partnerships, can provide access to education, skills development, and opportunities for stable employment.
The team first visited Villa Libertad in El Nido and Poblacion in Taytay to conduct a career orientation for parents and youth in the community.
During the session, the Dualtech team introduced the Electromechanics Technology Program, highlighting its in-school and in-company training, values formation, and career pathways. Participants expressed interest in learning how the program could benefit the youth in Palawan by providing access to education and skills development.
The team continued its efforts through a courtesy visit to the Municipality of San Vicente. During the visit, Dualtech representatives met with the MSWD Office and Hon. Ramir R. Pablico, who expressed his full support for Dualtech’s program. He recognized how the program can help the youth gain practical skills and access better career opportunities.
Dualtech also held a career orientation for 4Ps beneficiaries, parents, and youth to introduce the program and the career paths available to students. The session helped participants understand how the training equips learners with the skills needed for technical roles in both local and international industries.
The team then visited the communities of Taga Benit and Buenavista in Puerto Princesa City to introduce the Dualtech Program to parents and students.
During the visit, the team met Ms. Annevie Laurente, a parent whose two sons are Dualtech scholars under Century Pacific Agricultural Ventures, Inc. (CPAVI) and Handling Innovation. She expressed her gratitude for the support given to her sons and shared that both are expected to graduate next year.
The visit became more than an orientation—it gave families a clearer understanding of the opportunities Dualtech provides and encouraged students to see the possibilities ahead of them.
Through the partnership of Dualtech, DSWD Palawan, and the local government units, more families are becoming aware of the opportunities available to their youth. This initiative allows youth in Palawan to explore stable career paths, contribute to their families, and work toward a brighter future.
