Dualtech and Ibiden extend educational support to communities across Iloilo and Antique
As part of their shared commitment to community development and access to education, Dualtech Center and Ibiden Philippines carried out a series of outreach visits in Iloilo and Antique. Through these Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the team turned over donated laptops, explored collaboration opportunities with local schools, and introduced the Electromechanics Technology Program to the community.
Dualtech Center first visited Dingle Family Farm School in Dingle, Iloilo as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.The school representatives welcomed the team as they explored potential collaboration opportunities with Dualtech for its learners. Dualtech Center turned over laptops donated by Ibiden Philippines to support the school’s programs and improve students’ access to digital learning.
The school expressed its appreciation for the donation, which will enhance learning opportunities and strengthen the school’s computer laboratory. Dualtech’s representative also toured the school facilities to identify potential areas for future CSR projects.
After visiting Dingle Family Farm School, Dualtech Center together with Ibiden Philippines proceeded to the Municipality of Pandan, Antique.
Sangguniang Bayan Member and Chair of the Education Committee, Raymund Gumboc, organized the event held at the Municipal Hall. Mayor Tomas Unlayao Estoperez Jr., also attended the program to show support for this initiative aimed at empowering the local youth through education.
Dualtech Center introduced its programs and emphasized how its partnership with industry extends beyond on-the-job training (OJT) to include community engagement and CSR activities. Ibiden Philippines donated laptops to support the Alternative Learning System (ALS) teachers and learners in Pandan.
The team then visited Northern Antique Vocational School (NAVS) in Culasi, Antique—a coastal municipality with a diverse economy primarily driven by agriculture, fishing, and small-scale tourism.
The school representatives welcomed Dualtech and Ibiden for a possible collaboration in support of their Alternative Learning System (ALS) and Senior High School (SHS) learners. Dualtech Center presented its Electromechanics Technology Program, providing students and teachers an overview of the training and the career opportunities it offers.
Dr. Leah E. Noblezada, the School Principal, expressed interest in encouraging their learners to consider the program, which features a unique blend of in-school and in-company training that leads to gainful employment. Ibiden Philippines donated laptops to ALS teachers to support digital learning among their learners.
NAVS also presented certificates of appreciation to both Dualtech and Ibiden in recognition of their efforts to extend their programs and outreach activities to the school.
The team continued their outreach on Malalison Island in Culasi, Antique—a small fishing community where most residents depend on fishing, seaweed farming, and small-scale agriculture for their livelihood.
Several scholars from Malalison Island recently graduated from Dualtech Center and are now employed by their sponsoring companies. Dualtech and Ibiden were welcomed by students and teachers of Malalison Elementary School.
The team also met with the parents of graduates, who shared how their sons are now able to support the family, having secured employment immediately after training.

The community expressed interest in sending more trainees from the island to enroll in Dualtech’s Electromechanics Technology Program.
These initiatives reflect the shared mission of Dualtech and Ibiden to empower communities through education, technical training, and corporate social responsibility projects—bridging the technology gap and preparing learners for future career opportunities.
