Puso at Sigasig: GT Foundation and Dualtech

During Metrobank’s Foundation’s (MBFI) 40th year anniversary celebration, Dualtech Center was among the recipients of Partner in Empowerment, Advocacy and Commitment to Excellence (PEACE) Award at the Le Pavillon, Pasay City. The award recognized select institutions that share the vision of the foundation in bringing a significant effect on social development.
Anchored on the theme “Puso and Sigasig”, the event highlighted stakeholders that had put the heart in delivering community support and had shown zeal in implementing programs and projects in the fields of public service, education, healthcare, good governance, visual arts and heritage. Some select individuals were also acknowledged with the Award for Continuing Excellence and Services (ACES) for their consistency and excellence in their respective professions.
“Forty years and hundreds of meaningful collaborations later, hope has not waned; rather it persists with tenacity that the goals we have set will be realized,” said MBFI President Aniceto Sobrepena. This “humanitarian legacy”, Mr. Sobrepena added, is to give honor and to express utmost esteem to the unparalleled contributions and leadership the late founder, Dr. George S.K. Ty, has contributed to the “heart of the Filipino community.”
