Dualtech Training Center extends CSR activities and Career Opportunities to Students in Zambales
Dualtech Training Center continues its effort to reach more youth by visiting communities and schools in Zambales. The activity also serves as an opportunity to inspire students and connect with teachers and school leaders who help guide them toward technical-vocational careers.
The team first visited Subic National High School in Subic, Zambales, where they were welcomed by School Principal III, Mr. Chester Allan Matienzo, along with the teaching staff. The Teachers supported the initiative, gathering Senior High School students to hear about career paths in Dualtech they could pursue after graduation.
Principal Chester Allan Matienzo expressed his gratitude to the Dualtech team for visiting their school and inspiring the students. He also presented Certificates of Appreciation to Dualtech in recognition of its continuous efforts to promote skills training and industry-based education among the youth.
The group then proceeded to Amungan National High School, where many students expressed interest in Dualtech’s training program. A student shared that if given the opportunity after graduating from Senior High School, he would not waste any time applying to Dualtech. He said he was inspired by the career opportunities and training program that Dualtech offers, which he believes can help him gain skills, work experience, and stable employment in the future.
During the visit, Dualtech also distributed the donation from Century Pacific Food, Inc., which included food products for the students.
The team then visited San Salvador High School in Masinloc, Zambales. San Salvador is a coastal community where many residents depend on fishing and community-based livelihood programs.
School Principal Ms. Jamie De Guzman, together with the faculty, welcomed the Dualtech team and gathered Senior High School students to learn more about Dualtech’s technical training opportunities and industry partnerships.
The school presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Dualtech in recognition of its support and involvement in providing learning and development opportunities to the students and the wider school community.
Dualtech also turned over products from Century Pacific Food and NutriAsia for student beneficiaries.
The team also visited Bamban Integrated School and Sto. Rosario Integrated High School.
Ms. Asuncion Eala, School Principal of Bamban Integrated School, together with the school’s teachers, organized a classroom-based Dualtech career orientation to help students learn more about the program.
The school expressed its support for the program and encouraged its graduating students to pursue it after graduation. According to the teachers, opportunities like this don’t come often, the students are encouraged to join the training and gain experience at Dualtech together with its partner companies.
After the visit to Bamban, the team continued the career orientation at Sto. Rosario Integrated High School, where they met with Ms. Angelita E. Baral, School Principal, and the teachers.
Similar to the activity in Bamban, Sto. Rosario High School gathered its senior high school students per classroom for a more focused learning session about Dualtech’s program offerings.
After the presentation, some students asked follow-up questions about the admission process and training. One student said that after he graduates, he will consider the program because he wants to continue his education through industry-based learning like the one offered by Dualtech and its partner companies. He added that if given the opportunity, he will make the most of it and give back to the community.
The team continued their outreach at Coto High School, where School Principal Mr. Fernando Quides, together with the teaching staff, organized the event and gathered senior high school students. Coto, Zambales was once a mining community. Locals now earn a living through small businesses, farming, and eco-tourism around the area’s springs and rivers.
Coto High School expressed its gratitude to the Dualtech team for visiting and inspiring its students. The school also presented Certificates of Appreciation to Dualtech. During the visit, Dualtech distributed donations from Century Pacific Food and NutriAsia, which included food products for the students.
After the visit to Coto High School, the group proceeded to Ubat Integrated School, where they were welcomed by its principal, Ms. Sharon Morado, and the teaching staff.
Principal Morado expressed interest in encouraging their learners to consider the program and thanked the group for visiting their school for the first time.
The school gathered senior high school students and some out-of-school youth to learn more about the Dualtech program. After the presentation, many expressed interest, among them was an out-of-school youth who expressed gratitude to the teaching staff and Dualtech for bringing such an opportunity to their school and community. He believes this will be his stepping stone to continue his education and secure future employment.
The team’s final stop was at Bani National High School, where they extended their CSR activities to benefit the students.
Dualtech presented its program to the graduating students and also turned over donations from Century Pacific Food and NutriAsia, which included food products for the identified student beneficiaries.
Mr. John Sypher Empeno, Principal of Bani National High School, thanked Dualtech for its continued partnership from his previous school to his current post in Bani and for its dedication to supporting the academic and professional growth of their learners. For him, this is a great opportunity for their learners to fulfill their dreams.
Through these school visits, Dualtech continues to reach out to youth, promoting the value of skills training and character formation. The institution remains dedicated to helping students discover opportunities for growth, employment, and lifelong learning through its industry-based training program.
